Community gardens


Today, I have visited two community gardens, one located in Badalona (Spain) and the other located in Sant Adrià del Besòs (Spain).
Both they use the farmland of old cottages. Now the cottages are public buildings.

Can Cabanyes in Badalona



Can Serra in Sant Adrià del Besòs.



It is a way to preserve the agriculture, the landscape and the public space, while the retired people cultivate their vegetables.

    Molt bona iniciativa! Me parece genial este tipo de proyectos que deberían desarrollarse por todas partes. Gente generosa y comprometida, un ejemplo a seguir.
